Has anyone used speech recognition in word and excel?
How does it work?
Can it be used in 2000 version or do I have to upgrade to 2003?

It was introduced in Office XP (Word 2002). If you have a real need for it,
it will probably be satisfactory for you after you have trained it, but many
users who initially play around with it briefly and then forget to turn it
off end up posting here with questions about "gremlins" in the machine!
