Spell Check causes OUlook to Lock up

In Outlook 2000 with all the latest update already installed when I try to
reply to a HTML formatted email and then run spell check Outlook locks up and
I have to kill the program using Task manager. If I write a new email and
run spell check everything works fine.
I also tried Detect and repair

Any ideas?

Hi!

I have exactly the same problem! To date I have not been able to find
anything from Microsoft, or from any discussion group, to address this issue.
As you well know it is EXTREMELY irritating! I have had to just remember to
NEVER spell check an HTML-formatted letter! The way this occurs makes
absolutely no sense whatsoever. It is clearly a bug. Perhaps if enough of
us report it Microsoft will do something about it. (I entered a Post for
this on 3/1/2006) Good luck, to you and to all of us!
