Spell check

Hi there,

Outlook 2003 (11.6359.6408) SP1

I have two questions:

Question 1:
I have made my own HTML signature file. When creating a new message,
automatic spell check is not working at the top-part of my message, this
is above my signature. Only when I go down below my signature, auto
spell check works.

Question 2:
When I right-click anywhere in my newly created message, it only
displays the options applicable to my signature.

This is very frustrating and you help will be most welcome.

Try putting a -- and a blank line at the top of your signature for better visual separtion between it and the rest of the message. The symptoms you describe indicate that you're typing your message inside the signature block itself.

Sue,
thanx for your answer. It makes perfectly sence. I did try the ---
without any success. My situation:
My signature consists of a tallish portrait image which has to be on the
most left, top side it can be.

OUTLOOK, on the other hand, inserts two lines in front of this image.
And I think this is where the problem lies: I delete these two lines in
order for this image to be top-left and then I am in my signature.

So what you says makes perfectly sence to me. Do you know of a
workaround for what I want, or is is impossible. Maybe have Outlook not
to add two lines in front of my signature?

I made my HTML signature in DreamWeaver.

Regards,
