Splash screen on outlook

Even after downloading mail I will get a splash screen
for one of my two accounts that tells me to try again,
even though thte mail has been downloaded. The splach
screen has all of the infomation filled in properly, the
mail downloaded, the box for "Remember my Password" is
unchecked so I'll recheck it again. I am sure there is a
simple box somewhere that I have neglected to check. Any
ideas folks? Thanks in advance!

- running OL in safe mode does not help.
- a new profile does not help.

- configured ZoneAlarm to use a "Medium" security setting
rather than "High" ...
issue resolved.
