Splitting PowerPoint slides into individual presentations

Hi,

I need to create an application that can split up a PowerPoint file
into individual slides and create a separate file for each of them.
The names assigned to each of these files must be the title of that
particular slide. Is this something that is possible usuing VB / VBA
or any other scripting language?
