spotlight doesn't search in Entourage

Hi,

I have bought the new MacBook. My entourage account is on a exchange
server. Spotlight doesn't seems to search in my mails through
entourage.

How can i solve this problems.

First thing is to check the spotlight files are in place - is there a
'spotlight' pane in the Entourage prefs?

If not, it is probably because you have copied the Office application folder
over and it has left behind the necessary spotlight indexing files that
should be in the library folder. Best thing here is to use the 'remove
office' tool, reinstall from the CD and apply all updates.

If the prefs pane does appear, then check you haven't turned off 'mail
messages' in the spotlight pane of the system prefs - this setting applies
to Entourage messages as well (they are of the same metadata 'type').

If there's still no0go, then report back here.
