sql store procedure

i have single table <tbl msg> thats paramiters is msg_Id, start_date
Msgsummry, end_date. and i wanna to show msgsummry within star_date to
end_date and when end_date has gone that msg will update by the current date
which is in new start_date in the database otherwise null.
