how do you type a square number in micrsosoft word
document.....ie 8 2 = 64

If you mean 8 squared, type 8 then CTRL+SHIFT+=, then the two, then
CTRL+SHIFT+= again.

CTRL+SHIFT+= (the +/= key) toggels superscript and regular script.

Type 82. Select the 2. Format->Font. Select superscript.
