SSL and Sharepoint Problems

Ed

We switched our server to use SSL, and now I cannot
connect to Sharepoint. I tried to change the link on
the 'Connect to SharePoint server' to
https://www.website.com:443/sites and I get the following
error.

"Project Server cannot connect to the specified Web
server running Windows SharePoint Services."

If I click on the link
to 'https://www.website.com/sites/MS_ProjectServer_PublicD
ocuments, the link works. Our certificate is for
www.website.com, so if I just enter the server name, I
get an error saying there is a problem with the
certificate. Do I have something setup incorrectly in
IIS?

One other thing, we didn't set up SSL for the SharePoint
Administration site. I also tried forcing the link by
changing it in SQL, this showed the correct link
in 'Manage SharePoint sites', and I can connect to the
SharePoint site for my project from there, but the
Project Home page won't connect for Issues and Risks and
it won't connect if I go to Issues for a specific project.

I need to get our site back ASAP - any help would be
appreciated.

Proxycfg?

So after trying a million different things, I noticed
that the proxycfg was changed. I reset it to not use a
proxy server which is what I had before SSL, when I try
to update the SharePoint connection, I get:

"You have not specified the correct proxy server through
which Project Server can connect to remote Windows
SharePoint Services."

I'm not sure what this should be set to. Don't know if
this fixes my other connection issue, but seems to be a
problem

Thanks

I was able to get it to work by using the proxycfg.exe,
but I have a question on what I actually did - I put it
into a separate thread called 'Proxycfg?'
