SSL certificate for Entourage & Exchange

We're setting up our Exchange server to allow Entourage clients to access
it. (Why, oh why doesn't MS just give us a mapi client?)

We're requiring an ssl connection, and overriding the default port number
for IMAP access.

When the server and client are configured properly, we still get an error
message opening the client, which says that the certificate is invalid, and
to use IE to install the certificate authorization. But I can't find where
in IE's preferences to do this. On the Security pane in IE Preferences,
there's a list of all the current Certificate Authorities, and buttons to
View, Delete, Set Password, and Reset Defaults, but not a button to add a
new authority.

Anyone have any suggestions?

I don't think you can install certificate authorities for the current
version of Entourage, nor for IE Mac. I think the only app on the Mac that
does it at the moment is Netscape - which can't access Exchange. I'm pretty
sure MS must have it on their planning boards for later versions of
Entourage - you should send a request via Help/Send feedback.

The error message says,

"Unable to establish a secure connection to "server-name." There is a
problem with the security certificate from that server. Use Internet
Explorer to install the correct certificate.

"If you continue, the information you view and send will not be secure."

They should either change the error message in Entourage or fix IE so that
it can install the certificate.
