Stalls during Insert Hyperlink

Hi,

FYI: FrontPage 2002 on a new Windows pc running XP.

Recently I've started getting a FrontPage Not Responding
message when I try to copy a url into the Insert
Hyperlink box. It happens about 50% of the time. I get an
hour-glass that won't go away. I need to either restart
my computer or occasionally shut off my computer to be
able to access FP again.

It happens on three different computers using different
copies of FrontPage 2002 software. My ISP reinstalled the
FP Extensions but the problem remains.

I've used FP since 1998 and have never had this problem
before.

Hi mjm,

Try

1. Delete the *.web files
2. Delete the tempoary files (Tools| Web / Site Settings | Advanced tab)
