Start a macro on the half hour

I need to build a daily history of values in a workbook
that is constantly updated by web queries I would like to
run a macro AUTOMATICALLY on the half hour to save these
values.
If necessary the process can be initiated by a condition
in the worksheet.
The wait method ties up my computer too long to be used
here.
