Start/finish but work is only a couple hours

hello, I have a task that will start on 1 April and finish on 29 April but the person working will only do 16 total hours. this is throwing off my resources. how/what to adjust?

I assume you've worked this out, but for the sake of someone else that might have the same question.

Set the duration for the month
Set the work to 16 hours
Then assign the resource

that should do it.
