Hi ... is it possible to build in a standardized login name and password to a
html re-direct file? I want to help a friend, with a subscription site, by
diverting traffic from my site to his. It's an open house promotion, of
sorts. He doesn't want to open the doorway to absolutely everyone, but has
given me a login name and password visitors from my site can use, when
re-directed. Am happy to provide names of sites involved, privately, if you
think this is an attempt to scam. Here's the logic, I guess ....
A wishes to redirect certain visitors to B.
B is a subscription site, requiring a login and password.
B sets up standardized login and password information to allow direct entry
for visitors re-directed from A.
For this purpose, login name and password are not variables.
Does this make any sense? Do you need additional information? Can you help
us? I prefer to send him visitors than him close his site. We're just a
couple of old guys, trying to stay afloat on the Internet.
Thanks. drgeorgep
