Stationary VS Spell Check

I am trying to set up an email account in Outlook 2002.
When I set Word to spellcheck, like underlin/change words
as I go, the stationary gets adjusted, and the text box is
shrunk.

If I turn off Word Spellcheck, the stationary goes back to
normal.

I could not locate a fix on te knowledge base.

Any ideas?
