Status Date Line (Data Date)

I wish to thicken the Status Date line in the graphic area of the Ghantt.

I am aware of format/gridlines, but the drop down only shows a thin line,
dotted line, or broken line. Are these my only options? I am aware of the
color option, but I am more concerned about the visibility of the Status
line. It is very difficult for a client to see with the relationships enabled
on the Ghantt. No, I don't want to turn off the relationship features.

Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.
