Still doesnt work! How do I set colour of all users in my contacts list?

Ah-ha! Now I think I see what I've been doing wrong.

There seems to be a "Category" at the level of email as
well as a "Category" at the level of contact !!

So I repeat my original question: How do I colour up emails
based on what category (or group?!) and email's author is in?
