Still no Entourage mail after sp2

Hi,

I installed the sp2 update and everything seems to be ok, but I still can¹t
get my .mac mail to come in. I can send, but can¹t receive. I get the
Authentication error. I keep putting in my password, etc, checked the
account settings, etc, but still nothing. Any thoughts from anyone. This
was a problem just yesterday even before sp2. It had worked great until
yesterday morning.

Thanks.

Silly question but have you tried accessing from the web?

Could your account have expired?

When you say you Œchecked the account settings¹, what were they?

Barry,

Account settings have my e-mail address,
IMAP = mail.mac.com
SMTP = smtp.zoominternet.net (that¹s my local ISP)

Anything else you¹re looking for in particular.

Check out http://www.macfixit.com for information with regarding signing in
with .mac. It appears Apple made some changes yesterday and many e-mail
clients are experiencing problems, where settings may have to be changed.
