Hello,
How do you stop an email send process. I attached a file that is too big and the client server that I sent it to does not accept an attachment that big.

Choose Window > Progress from the Entourage menu bar, then cancel it in
the resulting Progress window.

Hello,
I thought of this but the choice of selection is only STOP. When I select stop the process stops but the Outbox still has the email in it. When I do a Send/Receive press on the radio button the process of sending starts over again. Is there a way to delete this email? Thank you for the response.

Delete the message from the Outbox.
Hello Diane and Hello J.R.
Thank you for your responses.
I tried this too, from the pull down menu: Tools>Link to Existing>Message . . . then select Out Box. I'm able to high light the email but the delete does not work. I have selected Command-Delete, also I selected Delete within the Message window. I tried dragging the email off the window box.

I tried this too, from the pull down menu: Tools>Link to Existing>Message . .

Tools > Link to Existing > Message? Why would you do that?

1. From the Entourage menu bar, choose View > Go To > Mail.
2. From the folder list on the left side of the mail window, highlight
Outbox.
3. Highlight the message.
4. Press the Delete key on your keyboard.

If this doesn't work, then you probably have a corrupt database or
something else wierd is going on.

Hello J.R.
Thank you for this suggestion. My Entourage is newly installed and I have not optimized it yet. I did not have the most left window displayed. I did know there was such a window. I had only the 'In Box' window to the left and its contents in another window on the right.
I just did something and now I have three windows. I see 'Out Box' and I am able to delete 'Out Box' contents.
Thank you J. R.,
Mike
