stopping the Calendar from displaying the Contact's birthday

Any ideas?

We have imported 1200 contacts and most have birthdays,
BUT we don't want them to be displayed in Calendar, only
available for us to sort/search by.

Any idea how to disable outlook.contact.birthday field
from displaying in outlook.calendar.dailyview ?
