Stopping the Country from being displayed

In Outlook, when I enter a new Contact, the country is
automatically filled in and is displayed in the address
field for the contact. How can I stop that from happening
and also how can I remove it from the couple hundred
contacts I already have?

You can't remove the country field. Instead, control how addresses are
