Stored database

My system recently crashed. I was able to get all my files backed up
and reinstalled on my hard drive. When I try to open Entourage it wants
to run a fix and compresion. When I run the compression it tells me it
gives me an error. Does anyone know how I could fix or retreive the
database.

Try launching Entourage pressing the alt key and perform a rebild of the
database first. Hopefully after that the database will be in better
shape and allow you to compact (but you might even want to compact at
this point...)>
