storing messages on an external drive

I am using an external USB drive to swap between two computers (w2k) to
avoid the need for data syncronisation.
It is fine with datafiles.
How do I do this with Outlook messages? Can I set w2k to read-write messages
directly on that external USB drive rather then in the dafault location
somewhere at C:\Documents and Settings ?

Yes, move the data file to the external harddrive and restart Outlook. It
will then prompt you for the location of the data file.
