Strange behaviour with assigning permissions

I'm using Access 2002 SP3 on WinXP SP2.

Is there any reason why my forms and reports don't show up alphabetically in
the User & Group Permissions assignment box (tools-->security-->user and
group permissions)? My tables, queries, and macros appear properly though.

I converted an Access 97 db to XP. I then created a brand new security file
which includes 31 groups and 47 users. My next step was to assign the objects
to the groups. This is when I noticed the objects do not appear
alphabetically. They appear to be in random order. I tried a compact & repair
with no success. Can anyone help me?

I believe the order is 'date created'. Annoying isn't it.

It's absolutely annoying. I like the way Access 97 handles security better.
However, I found a security add-in from Microsoft that is really great. You
can get it here:
