strange contact appearences

When I write down the telphone number in my contacts.
The country code appears twice.
For example sweden +46 46<telephn nr>
how do i get rid of the second "country code" that appears.
Is there an autoformat configuration ?

I have checked the national configuration on control panel and everything is
fine there.
