strange issue with Exchange contacts

I find that if I edit one of my contacts on the Entourage side of
things, at some point when the address book syncs with the Exchange
server the edited contact is duplicated. Obviously, it is not being
recognized as the same contact after changing a phone number or other
item. I proceed to delete the contact in either (or both) Exchange
(via Web access) or Entourage and things are fine for a few days.
However, eventually all the contacts I have ever edited since I
enabled the Exchange functionality in Entourage several months ago do
return as duplicates. Just an annoyance, but is there any solution?

I can't offer a solution, but my boss and I have noticed a similar
type of duplication happening to our contacts and calendar events and
appointments. We were wondering if it had something to do with the
sync setting in the advanced tab of our account settings. Good luck
with finding a solution.

I have been having the same problem (Entourage 10.1.4, OS X 10.3.4, Exchange 2003) Not only do I keep getting huge duplicates from Exchange into my Entourage address book, but periodically all my calendar entries get wiped out on Entourage. This only happens since I started connecting with Exchange

And while I'm complaining, I could never get free/busy to work. Everything else seems to work ok.
