stuck in outbox

We had some critical emails that were thought sent last week but never left
the outbox. Whats going on with outlook 2000. I have heard of this before
but I need a technical explanation of where the outlook flaw is and how MS
has resolved it. Without such, I will probably have to switch all 200
email clients to something else(non ms) as this happenned to the President
of our company and he now thinks outlook is a piece of S#^t.

Were they opened while they were in the Outbox? If so, you'll need to open
them and click the send button again. (If you open a mail while it's still
in the Outbox, Outlook apparently assumes that you want to modify it further
before sending).
