Subform control reference - Migration from 97 to 2002 problem

Hi

I have a database which worked fine in Access 97 and has been migrated to 2002.

There are several "third party" forms which reference or set the value of controls in a different forms subform. This worked fine in Access 97 but in 2002 it only seems to work if the "third party" form doing the referencing is "popup" (ie has its popup property set to "Yes").

Does anyone know why? Am I missing a service pack?

It sounds more like a timing issue to me, but your problem
description is way to vague to sure.
