subform footer totals in Access Projects

I'm converting an Access MDB to an ADP.

In the footer of my Access Project forms
I can't seem to get the same totals without errors.

For example: A field in the detail section called Units
should be able to be summed by placing a UnitTotal text box in the footer
with the formula =sum([units])

Does it matter that the Unit field is a calculated textbox?
The sum([Textbox]) doesn't seem to work for any value that I try.

All of this used to work in the MDB. Is it because of the ADP that I need
to make adjustments or did I just miss something?
