I have an Access 97 form with a subform. When I click on a
Check Box control, which is the last control on the parent
form, the subform automatically moves back to a previous
record? I have the subform linked on a field, and if using
the form correctly the fields line up when moving through
the records with the navigation buttons on the parent
form. I have been trying to find errors in behaviour to
make my program more robust, and I found a behaviour that
I cannot fix. If I start a New record in the parent form
(when I first open the form) the subform record is also
blank. If I click on a check box control, which is the
last control (in the Tab Order) on my parent form, the
subform puts the first record in only the subform as if I
went to the first record on my parent form. I have set the
form properties for both parent and subform to cycle only
through the 'current record'.
Does anyone know how to stop this error please?
