Subject line editing issues

Hi,

Our department have recently moved over to Entourage from outlook. We
are using v11.2.2 on os 10.4.6.
In outlook we could edit the subject line of a message. From looking in
the help file Ive found we can do this in Entourage by opening the mail
then clicking edit. Unfurtunatly our edit button is greyed out. Does
anyone know what setting need to be changed to allow us assess to the
edit function so i can pass the info on to our support people (they
currently have no idea how to do it)

I'll take a guess and say these are messages on the Exchange server, yes?

You can't edit messages on an exchange server - you need to copy the message
to a local folder, edit it and then copy it back :(

Yes, I know its crappy...
