Subtotals

Before upgrading to Excel 2003 I was able to subtotal
first by Division, then Salesperson, then Customer. In
the new version it won't let me subtotal in that order.
Any clue besides removing the upgrade?

The problem is supposed to be corrected by installing this hotfix:
