Sudden database corruption on a daily basis

Office 2004 - Mac 10.4.4 - everything latest versions. SUDDENLY in last
week getting alerts from Entourage that my Office DB is corrupted -
Just happened today with machine idling over lunch - Check integrity -
definitely damaged - rebuild and so far all OK - After last time I
removed approx 500mB of attachments and compacted too but still
happenening. ANY IDEAS PLEASE ?? - looks like something in 10.4.4
and/or my apps/utilities is corrupting the DB but what ?? THANKS

More likely it is some deep seated corruption that is not being repaired by
the rebuild routines. See if you can export all items (File menu;'
Export...'). If you can't. Even after a rebuild, that means the database is
still corrupted. If you can, create a new identity and move everything into
it.

THANKS - that worked OK so I know I have a clean archive and new
identity - If EN goes down again, I'';ll move to that identity and
rebuild my groups - Best Regards, Robert
