"Suggest Name" option in Outlook

The feature "Suggest Names while completing TO, CC, BCC"
is turned on. For that day it will retain used names.
When the system is shutdown for the night and is then
brought up the next morning, it will not recognize any of
the previous days used names. It is as though we have
not used Outlook before.
Any possible solutions?
We are currently using Microsoft Office 2003 with Windows
2000, but just recently changed from Office 2000 were the
same problem was occuring.

The problem could not have been occurring with Outlook 2000. It had no such
feature.
