SUMPRODUCT

Karen

Hi there,

I'm trying use the SUMPRODUCT to sum the numbers in column
I only if column F equals "Interim". Here is what I have
so far:
=SUMPRODUCT(--('Per Diem Maximization'!I4:I193<>""),--
(('Per Diem Maximization'!F4:F193)="Interim"))

But it keeps counting the column values, not suming/adding
the total amount in Column I which is what I need.

Thank you for your help!!!
Karen

why not just try
=SUMPRODUCT(('Per Diem Maximization'!F4:F193)="Interim")*'Per Diem
Maximization'!I4:I193)

Hi Karen

Instead try:

=SUMPRODUCT(--('Per Diem Maximization'!I4:I193),--
(('Per Diem Maximization'!F4:F193)="Interim"))

or

=SUMIF('Per Diem Maximization'!F4:F193,"Interim",
'Per Diem Maximization'!I4:I193)

or

Don's suggestion.
