While this process is working (you can invoke by clicking
Send/Receive or pressing F9) look in the lower right-hand
corner of Outlook.
You should see the progress indicator and I
believe "Details". Either way, double-click on that text
in the status bar and you should see the progress window
you're looking for and thus uncheck the "hide" box.
