Support for hyperlinks in a mail message

When receiving a mail message with link in it Entourage expands the link and show both the description of the link AND then the full URL making it difficult to read emails with lots of links in them. I wondered if this had something to do with the sender sending in RTF, but it appears to be a specific Entourage issue. Is there a problem with Entourage in this respect and if so is there a work around or fix?

Entourage does not support RTF. It will support embedded links in HTML
messages that you receive. If you receive a non-HMTL message that
contains embedded hyperlinks then it will display the link text along
with the link itself.
