Switch from PowerPoint to Excel workbook and come back during the slideshow

Hi,

I want to launch some Excel files from PPT. All is prepared on
hyperlinks and work great apart from the fact that when I open Excel
workbook on the slide show it opens 'in the backgroud' - after
clicking I do still see the slideshow not Excel.

Is it possible to open Excel from a link, see the worksheet and after
closing Excel come back to the same place of a PPT slideshow?
