I have just upgraded my office version to 2004 from X. I have been
using Apple (mail, address book, and ical) and syncing them (desktop
and portable) with .Mac and the Sync program.
I not only neet to sync my data, but would like to share calendar
information among my family members (wife and kids) who are connected
on an ethernet network. To add to the complexity, my wife has been
keeping her calendar on a Palm Handheld, using palm software, and palm
desktop on the Mac.
Thanks to this group, I have discovered how to migrate data from Mail
and Address Book, but have learned that iCal is a problem.
1) Can anyone suggest the best method, if any, to get this group all
synced up? Can it be done with isync?
2) Would I be better off using the Apple Software and letting
entourage sit unused (I admit that the project function is tempting,
but is the balance of entourage sufficiently superior to Apple to make
a changeover desirable?
