Switching between network and dial-up connections

I need to set up a Windows XP Home PC so that Outlook 2002 (and IE6) connects to the Internet via
the LAN while in the office, but uses dial-up when elsewhere, with the minimum of user intervention
to switch between the two.

What is the best way to set this up?
