Switching from the U.S. English Dictionary to the U.K.

Every time I try to switch the dictionary and set the default language
as English (U.K), it doesn't work! It usually switches back right
away. I find it very frustrating. I've changed the international
settings on my computer as well as the input language, it's just
Microsoft Word that won't change.

Any tips??

Yep.
Word lets each paragraph have its own language.
Usually you manage the properties of paragraphs with styles. At least
that is the recommended way.
One of the properties is Language.

Start with format » styles » modify
and set the language of your normal style to English (UK)

All the styles that inherit properties from it *should* follow
automatically.

We wouldn't know, this is the Macintosh Word group here.

However, I do have a copy of Word 2007, and I do know that you can look it
up in the help.

Language setting is quite complex. You need to make your changes in the
Normal template. The Word 2007 Help tells you how to do that.

Cheers

How do I do that in MS word 2007?
