switching to Mail

Mike

When I receive a message containing an email address , and click on it,
I leave Entourage and enter Apple's Mail program to send a message.
Is there a menu somewhere to stop this so I can stay in Entourage?
Thanks

In Mail itself, Preferences/General/Default Email Reader. Change it to
Microsoft Entourage (in the Microsoft Office 2004 folder, if browsing is
necessary).

Strangely, checking this out for you, I discovered that somehow my Default
Email Reader had been changed to "EntouragePrintPDE.plugIn" file! I just
changed it back.

Yes, but it's not intuitive. It's in the Preferences pane in Mail, not in
the System Preferences (where it would make the most sense to put the option
to pick the default e-mail client).

Open up the Preferences in Mail. It's then

Mail -> Preferences -> General -> Default E-mail Reader (a pull-down menu).

Change the default e-mail client to whatever you want it to be.
