Hi,

I'm still new to Entourage, so I'm sorry if these questions are either basic or obvious.

I created an event in iCal and wanted to quickly syc it with Entourage but couldn't do it. When I went to the help screen it showed me where the command is but that same key wasn't highlighted (so I couldn't sync) and I'm wondering how often Entourage syncs with iCal and if I have any control over it.

I like iCal because I can open files for an alarm (usually iTunes). It would be really helpful if Entourage could do the same thing. Is there a way to upload my own alarm sounds OR have Entourage open a file at a certain time?

Well the process is governed by the Sync Services. We have no control
over it and I'm not sure how often it syncs. Within minutes
definitively.

Thanks for the reply. I figured out that I can just go into iCal and edit that alarm so that it opens the file I want. It's an extra step but I'll live. ;)
