Sync Entourage Contacts between computers

S

Step

I would like to keep Entourage contacts synced between 3 networked
computers. Is sync services and .Mac the best way of doing it? It only
needs to be done once a day. I don't want to use a single database on
the "server".

Any ideas out there?

Thanks

If you have a .Mac account, that would be a good option. Another option that
you also might want to check out is called Plaxo Toolbar for Mac (free). You
can configure Entourage (version 11.2.3 or higher) to synchronize with your
OS X Address Book, which then synchronizes with Plaxo.

Placing a database on a server is not a good option. Would be very slow,
plus three users couldn't access the database at the same time.

Thanks for this. Plaxo and .Mac would be a similiar way of doing
it??? If so, would you have a recommendation as to which is quicker/
more efficient/reliable?
Thanks

And I was intending to use iCal for calendars - sensible option?

Plaxo is new info for me so I really can't comment. You might want to do
both. Plaxo also does calendars so you should be covered either way.

Since there are 3 networked computers and I'm assuming they are 3 different
users, this might make a difference in how .Mac would work. Just not
familiar enough with it to comment. I would definitely test both. I believe
you can get a trial .Mac account to test.

And also.... Do Categories stay preserved using these methods?
