Check out the new Missing Sync for Windows Mobile product from Mark/Space.

Reviews so far have been mixed from what I can tell.

(I think that's being a bit kind. There seem to be a lot of problems still.)

I realize that this is massive overkill, but since our organization already
has Exchange server and I use an Exchange mail account for work purposes,
it's not to terribly difficult to get ActiveSync to sync to Exchange and
Entourage to sync to Exchange.

I love that I can edit a contact in Entourage 2004 and have the new info
show up on my SmartPhone (iMate SP3i) after a sync.

You can also go to PocketMac and get a sync program. I use their version
for BlackBerry and sync that up with no problem.

Has anyone used (or very familiar) with BOTH Pocketmac and the Missing Sync?
I would like to see a comparison/contrast of features and pro/cons of each.
Has anyone this knowledge or seen this review online somewhere?

Thanks,
-Mark

Neither will work with the newest Pocket PCs running Windows Mobile 5.

The ³amenities² PocketMac had, such as an Excel viewer, are moot with
Windows Mobile 5, since Excel Mobile creates native XLS files. Pocket Excel,
which was the version included in previous versions of Windows Mobile,
created a file that was unreadable by desktop Excel. With a Windows PC,
ActiveSync would translate Pocket Excel and Pocket Word files into xls and
doc files.

From my evaluations, they are about neck and neck. The vendor that gets a
Windows Mobile 5-compatible release out the door first will get my dollars,
though...:)
