Sync iCal to Entourage Then to .Mac

I want to sync iCal to Entourage one time to upload my calendar
history. After that, I'll be using Entourage calendar exclusively. I
need to be able to sync Entourage calendar to my .Mac account to sync
the calendar between two computers ... a G5 desktop and a G4 laptop.
Both have OS10.4.7.

Any suggestions?

First, make sure that Entourage 2004 is up-to-date on both machines.
Download and install the latest Office 2004 updates, which are the Office
2004 11.3.5, 11.3.6, & 11.3.7 updates.

In Office 2004, use Microsoft AutoUpdate to get the latest updates. From
any Office application, go to Help > Check for Updates (or manually launch
Microsoft AutoUpdate from the Applications folder). If any updates are
needed, they will display in a sheet, at which point you can check them and
press the "Install" button to download and install them.

Updates can also be found at the Microsoft web site:
<http://www.microsoft.com/mac/downloads.aspx#Office2004>

Then, enable Sync Services on both machines:
1. Go to Entourage > Preferences.
2. Under "General Preferences", select "Sync Services".
3. Check the appropriate option to synchronize events.

Now, this will leave your calendar data in iCal. This is OK; you can still
view & edit it in Entourage, but you need to have a copy in iCal so that you
can synchronize it with .Mac. Now, you can use .Mac Sync to synchronize
Calendar and Address Book, and the data that is in your Entourage calendar
should synchronize.
