Sync pane (pain)

Hello,

I installed the new Office update that always users to sync with .Mac.
Seeing that it didn't do what I need, I removed Office.... but now
whenever I go to system preferences, .Mac, Sync, it still shows
"com.microsoft.entourage.notes"

How do I get rid of this??

Yep, it's a limitation in the System. There is no UI to remove useless
services. You'll see something equivalent if you try out Transmit and
Yojimbo for instance. Really annoying, but it doesn't really interfere
with anything.

There is a solution, but it is pretty drastic: you need to completely
trash all sync service information. The procedure is painful and not
without risk. I would stay with the icon in the list.
