Sync Services Entourage can't send iCal to Entourage

I am enabling sync services to have sync services overwrite Entourage.
It creates the Entourage calendar in iCal and deletes all items in
Entourage but nothing is added to Entourage. If I create a calendar
item in Entourage and give it the calendar name Entourage it will sync
the item to Entourage. Is it not possible to have all your ical items
sync'd to Entourage. It would appear not. I have my items in various
calendars. Entourage creates its own calendar and seems to want to put
only items from that calendar in Entourage. I can't find anything on
the Microsoft website to explain this.

Only the one "Entourage" calendar is synced. To sync all your iCal items,
you'd have to move them to the Entourage calendar in iCal. The topic is
covered to some extent here:

Thanks very much. I thought that was the answer. I'm going to have to
continue to use Paul Berkowitz's sync script. The problem with it is,
although it creates a nice clean sync between the two on overwrite,
update syncs get messed up. They somehow muck up sync services and
then I end up with multiple entries on my Palm and inacurracies in the
sync between ical and Entourage. I find the best thing is to do an
overwrite and first run. But, when I do this I do loose all my links
that I establish. Paul feels his script is 100% and that it is sync
services that is causing the problem and the link you gave me would
suggest that also.

You can't run my script when Entourage's Sync Services also on - that mucks
everything up. You've got to choose one or the other. If Entourage's Sync
Services are off, the script will work fine, without the problems you get
with Sync Services, but needs to be run manually, of course.

No I don't run it with when sync services is on. I've really only
tried sync services a bit but see its limitations. I like your script
due to the accuracy of the mapping. However, I do find that when you
run later updates checking for deletions, things start getting a bit
out of alignment and my Palm eventually starts going out. Once I run
an overwrite with first run, its all back to normal and equal.
However, if I've established any links in Entourage item to item/s
they are then lost. I wanted to mention that tasks listed as normal in
Entourage end up in iCal as nothing but everything else is good.
