Sync with isync?

Is there anyway to get entourage to sync thru isync? It would be very
helpful to have my cell phone, pda, and web all synced. Ical is nice, but I
prefer the better integration entourage has with my clié.

There is a software by PocketMac called PocketMac GoBetween.
<http://www.pocketmac.net/products/gobetween/index.html> What PocketMac does
is it synchronizes Entourage with iCal and Address Book, and this data is
then transferred to iSync. Give it a try, there's a demo version available.
Remember to backup before you try the synching, though. I tried it once and
I didn't think it was that convincing, since I could see the iCal todos on
my phone, but strangely enough NOT in iCal, where the todo pane had several
bullets to indicate the presence of todos, but no entries whatsoever. And
given the way iCal and Address Book handle calendars and groups, I don't
think that your categories will be synched. But, as I said, give it a try,
it may work better for you.

Another option is to use Paul Berkowitz's scripts to keep data in the
Entourage Address Book & the System Address Book and data in the Entourage
Calendar & iCal synchronized. They've gotten excellent reviews.

To keep addresses in the system Address Book and the Entourage Address Book
synchronized, use Paul Berkowitz's "Sync Entourage-Address Book" script.

To keep events in iCal and the Entourage calendar synchronized, use Paul
Berkowitz's "Sync Entourage-iCal" script.

Once you have that set up, the data can be synchronized to any device
supported by iSync.
