Sync with .mac

I wrote .mac with the fact that NONE of the data from Entourage is syncing with .mac. It appears that things are syncing (I've sent up Entourage to sync with .mac and Address Book and .mac and iCal; I've registered and registered my computers on .mac; I've reset sync data and set up sync so the data flows from my computer to .mac). Circles twirl, computer looks busy - and when it's all over and I check .mac, the latter shows very old data and says my last sync was in June 2007.

..mac told me the following, ".Mac Sync is only supported for use with ical and Address book. If you trying to Sync third party application and information there may be issues. You can feel free to contact Microsoft regarding further troubleshooting with Entourage products and Sync."

Please update me on any progress by Microsoft in correcting it's sync services. (Ical doesn't sync and either does Address Book - I don't care about those 2, I do care about .mac as it's what I need to use to keep my MacBook Air and IMac in sync.)

I wrote .mac with the fact that NONE of the data from Entourage is
syncing with .mac. It appears that things are syncing (I've sent up
Entourage to sync with .mac and Address Book and .mac and iCal; I've
registered and registered my computers on .mac; I've reset sync data
and set up sync so the data flows from my computer to .mac). Circles
twirl, computer looks busy - and when it's all over and I check .mac,
the latter shows very old data and says my last sync was in June
2007.

First, read about how syncing works on your Mac:

"Why does syncing play Gossip with my contacts?"
<http://blog.entourage.mvps.org/2007/07/why_does_the_syncing_play_goss.html>

Entourage syncs with the Truth and then iCal and Address Book sync with
the Truth.

If you see your data in iCal and Address Book then syncing is working
properly and this *is* Apple's responsibility to help you fix. (Just
don't tell them you're using Entourage.)

If you don't see the data moving from Entourage to iCal and Address Book
then turn off .Mac syncing and turn off syncing in Entourage -->
Preferences --> Sync Services.

Wait a few minutes...

Then turn on syncing in Entourage and tell it to overwrite iCal and
Address Book. Launch iCal and Address Book so that you can monitor any
progress.

Wait a few minutes for things to happen...

If nothing happens then use iSync to reset Sync Services.

Once you have the applications in sync then enable .Mac syncing.

Hope this helps!
